Job Title: AV Engineer


As an AV Engineer, you will play a critical role in the planning, setup, operation, and maintenance of audiovisual systems for various events. You’ll work closely with our production team to ensure the smooth delivery of high-quality sound, lighting, video, and projection for both live and virtual events. This role requires technical expertise, creativity, and a passion for delivering flawless AV experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and configure AV systems for a wide range of events, including sound, video, lighting, and IT integration.
  • Set up, test, and operate AV equipment (microphones, speakers, projectors, LED screens, etc.) during live events.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in real-time to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Collaborate with event planners, clients, and production teams to understand event requirements and provide technical expertise.
  • Ensure that AV equipment is maintained, stored, and transported safely to and from event sites.
  • Stay updated on the latest AV technologies and industry trends to enhance the quality of our services.
  • Provide post-event debriefs, and assist with equipment de-rigging and packing.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an AV Engineer, preferably within the events or live production industry.
  • Proficiency in operating soundboards, lighting consoles, video switchers, and other AV equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure during live events.
  • Knowledge of AV networking, signal flow, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required for event setups.
  • Certification in AV technologies or relevant technical qualifications is a plus.
