Our valued client are a well renowned Workplace D&B Studio based in London.  They have recently won an exciting, large scale project in Greater London. This project will be over 6 levels including; New Staircase, Platform Lift, Toilets, Showers in addition to office, cafe and showroom areas! A real mixed use project!

So aside from being comfortable in creating fully coordinated design/construction pack for these proposed works, you will also have strong Building Control knowledge to support the internal team. 

You will be required to attend site meeting for both contractors and client meetings alike where you will be required to contribute proactively to the discussions, and there may be occasions during the construction process to support the client and greater team on any ongoing design changes that may arise, in terms of planning and design decisions. 

AutoCAD 2025 is a must have skill, REVIT is an advantage/option.

From the initial concept stage to completion, the team specialises in 3D visuals, bespoke cabinetry & furniture, Architect liaison, project coordination, and so on.

The current team of 6 (3 Interior Designers, Technical Designer, two Directors, and the Office Manager) is looking for another Senior Designer to join the team following another team member's departure to another role. 

This role is studio-based, 5 days per week.

REQUIREMENTS of the role:

• Interior Design BA(Hons) Degree (minimum).
• A minimum of 3 years experience in similar sectors of design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Proficient in SketchUp.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suites.
• Proven experience in managing projects from concept to completion.
• Confidence, knowledge, and proven experience in quantifying for Upholstery and Windows treatments. Including regulations for Fire rating.
• Experience and confidence in liaison with onsite trades.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
