Job Title: Creative Lead (Fixed-Term Contract)
Location: North London (Hybrid)
Contract Duration: Minimum 3 months 

The Role:

We are seeking a talented and visionary Creative Lead to join our team on a fixed-term contract. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the creative direction of live events, ensuring they align with client objectives and deliver unforgettable experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, producers, and strategists, to conceptualize, pitch, and execute world-class event experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop compelling creative concepts and storytelling elements for live events, ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand guidelines.

• Lead brainstorming sessions, providing creative vision and direction to the internal team and external stakeholders.

• Oversee the design, production, and execution of event visuals, stage designs, branding, and multimedia content.

• Work closely with event producers, technical teams, and vendors to bring concepts to life while maintaining creative integrity.

• Present ideas and pitches to clients, articulating creative strategies and justifying design decisions.

• Ensure all creative assets and materials are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards.

• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and new creative techniques to drive innovation in live events.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in a Creative Lead, Senior Designer, or Art Director role within a live events agency or similar environment.

• A strong portfolio showcasing creative work across experiential marketing, stage design, branding, and digital content.

• Exceptional conceptual and visual storytelling skills.

• Strong leadership abilities, with experience managing creative teams and collaborating with cross-functional departments.

• Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma) and an understanding of motion graphics and 3D rendering tools is a plus.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently pitch ideas to clients.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Role Summary - A key role sitting at the centre of Attractions & Live Experiences. Essential to managing and driving new business opportunities for Live Events & Attractions and in developing and increasing my client's experiential retail partnerships. To provide all aspects of Attractions & Live Experiences project management. 
 
Responsibilities:

• To research and produce market intelligence reports that target trends and new business development opportunities for Aardman Attractions and Live Experience, including opportunities to drive additional licensed product sales within these spaces and further extend our brands into new areas.

• To create and deliver new business opportunities, to include producing pitch presentations, budgets, and schedules for prospective Attraction & Live Experiences licensing partners.

• To seek and manage external partners to curate and operate experiential live events. To manage creative approvals/concept/script and visualisation of each project. Ensure all key creative personnel involved have sign off.

• To seek and manage all aspects of temporary exhibition opportunities in liaison with the archive, brand and marketing teams and support the Head of Attractions & Live Experiences in delivering long term, large scale touring exhibitions.

Experience/Skills:

At least 3-5 years’ experience of working in a Project Management role or in a similar industry specific role, which involves developing new business opportunities, branded event management and marketing (Ideally a combination of both)

• Excellent administrative and organisational skills, along with a high level of attention to detail is required.

• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills are essential.

• Proven experience of budgeting setting, monitoring, and management

• Proven experience in effective meeting management, including recording and managing actions both internally and externally • Intuitive and enthusiastic approach to problem solving.

• Proven experience of negotiation, analytical and reporting skill

• Experience of maintaining systems & a good knowledge and experience of using database

My client is looking to expand the capacity of our production team to deliver high-quality projects. This new role is being created to support ongoing growth and ensure excellence in project execution.

Reporting to senior leadership, the Project Manager will be responsible for planning and overseeing the design and implementation of installation projects. After supporting the initial sales process, the successful candidate will take full ownership of technical development, execution, and post-installation support for complex audio-visual installations. Responsibilities:

• Implement and ensure compliance with health and safety standards for each project, aligning with client and contractor requirements.

• Present a professional and customer-facing demeanor, demonstrating expertise in AV installation.

• Take ownership of each project to achieve the best possible outcomes while maintaining budget and quality standards.

• Organize and lead internal project meetings as required.

• Coordinate technical designs with construction teams and other contractors during project planning.

• Understand company technology and creative processes to effectively represent project interests in site meetings.

• Communicate with on-site contractors to efficiently resolve emerging issues while safeguarding project objectives.

• Manage procurement, logistics, labor, and scheduling for each project.

• Maintain up-to-date project documentation and ensure all relevant stakeholders are informed.

• Oversee project budgets, ensuring accurate cost planning before work begins.

• Support the sales and planning processes of installation projects.

• Ensure smooth project transitions from planning to execution and post-installation support.

• Contribute to sustainability initiatives by tracking and minimizing the environmental impact of projects.

• Be based in the office, with travel to project sites as required, including occasional international travel.

• Experience in the AV industry with technical knowledge, particularly in video, networking, and audio.

  • Installation infrastructure MEP requirements.

  • System design and documentation using AutoCAD, Vectorworks, and Microsoft 365.

  • AV control and integration systems, BMS

  • Video conferencing

• Familiarity with media server technology such as Medialon, Crestron, Kramer, Disguise, Pixera, Touchdesigner, Brightsign, and Resolume (training provided as needed).

• Relevant site project management certifications, such as:

  • Health and Safety Management accreditation

  • CSCS/ECS/CTS certification

  • Project management or leadership training
