Job Description

I am currently assisting with a small London practice in their search for a Senior Architect/Project Lead! This is an exciting position for someone looking to lead a range of projects from stage 4 onwards. This role has a salary of c. £45,000 depending on experience.

This role offers the opportunity for somebody to come in at RIBA stage 4 for a couple of exciting projects that this practice is working on.These projects include working with listed buildings and a larger office and retail scheme. Due to this, previous experience working with office and retail projects is extremely beneficial, as is experience working on refurbishment projects. As you will be leading these projects from stage 4, site experience is absolutely essential as is technical proficiency and general construction phase experience.

If you have a passion for sustainable architecture then this role could be for you! Having BREEAM certification is a big plus, but general knowledge of BREEAM and retrofit design is also beneficial, as is a knowledge of UK building regulations and planning policies. 

The software of choice for this practice is Autodesk Revit, and therefore experience and proficiency with this software is essential. Alongside Revit, proficiency with BIM360 is a positive.

Additional requirements include:

• Experience with client liaising and working with various multidisciplinary teams.
• A few years of experience UK practice experience post Part III
• Experience with business development and maintaining relationships with clients
• Demonstrable Experience from stage 4 onwards is essential, however previous experience in the earlier stages is beneficial for later projects.
