We are looking for a proactive and talented Junior Interior Designer to join our Interior Design team in our Bristol Studio. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your design skills on a variety of exciting projects within a diverse and growing team, working with senior designers and technical team members to develop your skills and career.
REQUIREMENTS to apply to the role:
- At least 1 year post-qualification experience in Interior Design.
- An Interior Architecture / Interior Design Degree, or equivalent qualification.
- Good communication skills and an enthusiastic team player.
- Good creative and technical ability, with evidence of these design skills.
- An avid Pinterest user with a genuine interest in current design trends.
- Proficiency in Adobe CS - Photoshop and InDesign.
- Proficiency/ experience in Revit.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- An understanding of design briefs and be ability to interpret ideas.
- An ability to assist with the design of projects and collaborate with the broader design team.
- Experience in generating and developing concepts and presenting proposals.
- Research skills to gather and disseminate information.
- Ability to prepare presentations and mood boards.
- Ability to assist with drawing packages and production of technical information.
- Supporting project leaders in the production of technical drawing packages and joinery drawings.
- Supporting project leaders in the production of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) schedules.
- Supporting project leaders in undertaking surveys and measurements and on-site inspections, as required.
- Liaison with consultants and suppliers.
- Organisational skills to allow you to work on several projects at any one time, in an organised manner.
- Enthusiasm for large commercial scale schemes such as residential, workplace, and education projects.
