The Role
Seeking a highly experienced and talented Senior Interior Designer to join a dynamic team. This multifaceted role demands a strong all-round design skillset, with a particular focus on both FF&E selection and overall interior design concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the design process for high-end residential projects, from initial client brief to final installation.
- Develop and present compelling design concepts, including space planning, material selections, and FF&E specifications.
- Conduct site visits, liaise with contractors, and oversee project installations to ensure seamless execution.
- Source and specify high-quality furniture, lighting, artwork, and other decorative accessories.
- Prepare detailed design documentation, including floor plans, elevations, and material boards.
- Manage project budgets and timelines effectively, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Mentor and guide junior members of the design team, fostering their professional growth.
- Stay abreast of current design trends and industry developments to maintain a cutting-edge perspective.
- Contribute to the overall creative direction and brand identity of the studio.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 6 years of professional experience as an Interior Designer in a high-end residential design studio.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of successful projects demonstrating exceptional design skills and a refined aesthetic.
- In-depth knowledge of FF&E sourcing, including a strong network of suppliers and vendors.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering tools.
- A meticulous eye for detail and a passion for creating beautiful and functional spaces.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to work with a strong ability to problem-solve and meet deadlines.
