WE'RE LOOKING FOR A JUNIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER

Design Happy is seeking a highly organised and proactive Junior Account Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in packaging and a passion for building strong client relationships. This role will be instrumental in supporting the Client Director and creative team, ensuring the smooth progression of work through the studio.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 2-3 years of experience in account management, ideally within a packaging or creative agency.
• A natural multitasker with top-notch organisational skills.
• A people person – building and maintaining great client and company relationships is second nature to you.
• A spreadsheet whizz.
• A keen eye for detail and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
• An understanding of the packaging design process and what it takes to get projects over the line.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the Client Director in managing day-to-day client relationships and project timelines.
• Work closely with the creative team to push projects through the studio efficiently.
• Assist in briefing the creative team, ensuring all project details are clear and deadlines are met.
• Coordinate feedback and amends between clients and the creative team.
• Support the drafting of cost proposals and timelines.
• Maintain and update project trackers, schedules, and budgets.
• Ensure high levels of organisation and workflow efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance client satisfaction.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

• Experience working with FMCG, luxury, or premium brand packaging.
• Knowledge of design and artwork processes.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Xero and Float.
• Understanding of print production and packaging materials.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR A SENIOR PACKAGING DESIGNER

Design Happy is on the lookout for a brilliant Senior Designer to join our team. If you love branding and packaging, have an eye for great design, and enjoy working in a fast-paced creative environment, this could be the role for you. This is a hands-on design role where you’ll be coming up with concepts, developing ideas, and crafting designs – not just sitting in meetings all day. You’ll take the lead on projects, help guide junior team members, and create packaging that really stands out on the shelf.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 7+ years of experience in branding and packaging design, ideally in an agency setting.
• A strong portfolio that shows off your creativity and problem-solving skills.
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Experience working with FMCG, luxury, or premium brands.
• Confident in coming up with ideas that not only look good but work for the brand.
• Able to present your ideas clearly and explain the thinking behind them.
• Good at juggling multiple projects and meeting deadlines without breaking a sweat.
• Happy to mentor junior designers and give constructive feedback.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and develop original design concepts and bring them to life.
• Lead design projects from start to finish, making sure everything looks amazing.
• Work closely with the creative team to make sure everything stays on-brand.
• Collaborate with the Client Services team to understand what the client needs.
• Present your work to clients and talk them through your design choices.
• Keep an eye on design trends and bring fresh ideas to the table.
• Support and mentor junior designers to help them develop their skills.
• Make sure designs are ready for print and work with artworkers to finalise them.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

• Some knowledge of 3D software such as Cinema 4D.
• Basic motion graphics or digital design experience.
• Understanding of print production, dielines, and packaging materials.
• Experience working on international brands and multi-language packs.

About the Role

As our B2B Content Marketing Lead, you’ll play a key role in shaping how brands connect with their audiences. Working closely with our Head of Strategy, Performance Marketing team, Client Partners, and Creative & Development teams, you’ll be responsible for leading the development of strategic marketing responses that turn business objectives, market intelligence, and customer insights into powerful content and campaigns.

What You’ll Be Doing

Key Responsibilities: 

• Leading the development of demand generation and content strategies for our B2B clients.
• Researching customer motives, behaviours, and pain points to inform marketing strategies.
• Synthesising complex subject-matter into simple compelling campaign messages
• Working directly with sales teams and subject-matter-experts to extract insights.
• Coordinating the creation of engaging content to support multi-channel campaigns
• Hosting discovery calls and workshops to uncover new opportunities and ideas
• Presenting strategic recommendations and campaign concepts to clients.
• Producing thought-leadership pieces to enhance Bright Blue Day’s digital presence.

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Expertise

• 4+ years in B2B marketing, content strategy, or demand generation.
• Proven track record in developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
• A broad knowledge of B2B marketing channels; social, email, paid search, display.
• Ability to analyse and synthesise research quickly into meaningful insights.
• Adept at aligning messaging with brand positioning and audience needs.
• Comfortable leading client-facing workshops, calls and brainstorming sessions.
• Experience planning multi-channel campaigns and content — leveraging various platforms to engage target audiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling narratives and client-ready materials.
• Confident presenting strategies and creative ideas to clients.
• A team player who can work across Strategy, Creative, and Performance Marketing.
