CALLING ALL JUNIOR 2D DESIGNERS (Graphics) Looking for a PERM role within the Events Industry! Based in a great London location working on a Hybrid model.
Role Overview:
A motivated and creative individual is required to join a design team working on innovative projects within the experiential and events industry. This position is ideal for someone at the beginning of their design career who is eager to grow and contribute to exciting global projects, including sporting events, festivals, brand activations, and motorsports.
The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, supporting the Strategic Creative Director, Creative Studio Manager, and Creative Leads to deliver exceptional designs from initial concepts through to production and launch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop visually engaging graphics for events, adhering to client brand guidelines.
- Create distinctive logos and branding for events.
- Interpret client briefs to ensure designs exceed expectations (with guidance from senior team members).
- Conceptualize and create mood boards for event designs.
- Design polished and professional pitch decks and presentations.
- Produce final artwork for event branding, graphic walls, printed materials, and digital media.
- Collaborate with the team on creative brainstorming sessions.
- Handle specialized tasks like colour correction and preparing artwork for print.
- Assist in organizing materials and briefs for freelancers and other team members
Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in Graphic Design (minimum 2:2) or equivalent design experience.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on high-quality output.
- Additional skills such as image editing, sketching, photography, illustration, or artworking are a plus.
- Awareness of emerging technologies and design trends.
- Proficiency in typography and layout design.
- Basic understanding of printing processes.
- Interest in sports or motorsports is advantageous.
Software Expertise:
- Required: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Desirable: Canva, Figma, Blender, C4D
