Senior Design Manager

I am seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Design Manager to join my clients dynamic team. As a key member of our design team, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of luxury property development. This full-time position is based in their West London office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Concept Design:
  • Leading the development of innovative and inspiring design concepts for high-end residential and commercial projects.
  • Collaborating with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand their vision and translate it into compelling design solutions.
  • Conducting in-depth research on materials, finishes, and trends to ensure designs are cutting-edge and timeless.
• Technical Design:
  • Overseeing the technical design process, including space planning, furniture layouts, and detailed specifications.
  • Working closely with project managers and construction teams to ensure seamless execution of design concepts.
  • Managing the production of high-quality design documentation, such as floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings.
  • Sourcing and specifying high-end materials, finishes, and furnishings, collaborating with suppliers and manufacturers to achieve the desired aesthetic and quality standards.
• Team Leadership:
  • Mentoring and guiding junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
  • Managing project timelines and resources effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Contributing to the development of design standards and guidelines for the company.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven track record in luxury interior design, with a strong portfolio of high-end residential and commercial projects.
• Excellent design skills, including a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of materials, finishes, and color palettes.
• Strong technical proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3D rendering tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to clients and team members.
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A passion for luxury design and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
