CALLING ALL Senior Technical Production Managers

 

A creative design and production studio specializing in luxury events, custom architectural facades, and immersive lighting installations. Combining artistic innovation with technical proficiency, the company delivers visually impactful experiences that consistently exceed client expectations. 

 

Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced, driven Head of Technical Production to lead the technical production team in executing top-tier projects. This role is essential to delivering seamless, high-profile events, exhibitions, and architectural installations. Ideal candidates will possess deep technical and production management expertise, robust knowledge of design and construction processes, and a passion for extraordinary experiential design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategic Direction:

    • Inspire and guide the technical production team, fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and collaboration.
    • Formulate and execute strategies aligned with the company’s vision and goals.
    • Collaborate with lead creatives and producers to ensure timely, budget-conscious project delivery that upholds high standards.
  • Project Management:

    • Oversee multiple projects concurrently, ensuring flawless coordination across design, production, and installation teams.
    • Work closely with clients, creative teams, and stakeholders to fully understand project requirements, crafting tailored solutions.
    • Develop and oversee detailed timelines, budgets, and resource plans to maximize efficiency and ensure effective material, equipment, and personnel use.
  • Quality Assurance:

    • Establish and uphold rigorous quality control processes that align with exacting standards.
    • Perform regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
  • Innovation & Process Improvement:

    • Lead innovations in production techniques, materials, and technology to maintain industry-leading status.
    • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce costs while safeguarding quality.
  • Vendor & Supplier Relations:

    • Cultivate relationships with suppliers, fabricators, and subcontractors, ensuring access to quality materials and services.
    • Negotiate contracts and oversee vendor performance to secure the best value for clients and the company.
  • Budget & Financial Management:

    • Track and manage project budgets, balancing cost-effectiveness with quality delivery.
    • Prepare regular financial reports and forecasts for senior management, identifying risks and growth opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years in senior technical and production management
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and large-scale installation technologies.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with a record of on-time, on-budget delivery of complex projects.
  • IOSH certification required
  • Exceptional leadership skills and experience managing cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficient communicator and negotiator, able to build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
  • Proficiency with project management software.
  • Relevant professional qualification or extensive experience in technical and production management is preferred.
