Job Description

I'm currently assisting a very well known AJ100 practice in their search for a Design led Senior Architect for their London office. This is a permanent position with a salary up to £55,000 pa depending on experience. 

If you're seeking a design focused, client facing position then this could be the ideal role for you. Initially the need will be to assist with some large scale Mixed-use projects through the early RIBA stages 0-2. You'll need to demonstrate strong experience with concept design, competitions and presentations. You'll have the opportunity to develop the design alongside some of the clients based across the world so you'll need the ability to communicate efficiently. You'll be taking a fair amount of responsibility with some of the upcoming projects and will have a small team to manage to prior management and leadership experience is a must. Another large aspect of this position is your ability produce Revit models so experience in this area is required. 

The work is very international. Yes they have a strong presence within the UK but initially you'll be working on projects in the Middle East, prior experience of working on schemes within this region would be a bonus but is not a pre requisite. The work itself is large scale Mixed-Use schemes and you will need to demonstrate a background of working in this sector. Specifically it's mixed-use combining residential, commercial and hospitality projects. 

Revit is the main software in use and fluency with Revit is a necessity to be considered. On top of your Revit experience you'll need to be very comfortable with Rhino.
