Overview

mustard is partnering with an established Hospitality Design Studio as they look to recruit a Junior Interior Designer to join their team in a permanent role. The ideal candidate will have some experience working on commecial interior design projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects and contribute to the overall success of this design firm.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Mid-Level and Senior Designers to develop innovative and functional design concepts
• Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for construction and installation
• Research and select appropriate materials, finishes, and furniture for each project
• Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure client satisfaction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
• 1+ years of experience in a professional design environment
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills

Day-to-day

• Collaborating with the design team to brainstorm and develop creative concepts
• Producing detailed technical drawings and specifications
• Researching and sourcing materials and furnishings
• Attending client meetings and presenting design proposals
• Managing project timelines and deliverables to meet client expectations and deadlines
