About the Role:
I’m partnering with a leading B2B events agency based in London Bridge that’s looking for a talented Account Manager to join their Client Services team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 2-3 years of account management experience in the events industry—particularly in conferences, exhibitions, or tradeshows—who is eager to develop into a senior role.
In this role, you’ll be the main point of contact for clients, ensuring the seamless delivery of high-profile B2B events. You’ll work closely with internal teams and be part of a dynamic Client Services department that prides itself on building strong, long-term client relationships.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary contact for your clients, building, nurturing, and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
- Event Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end management of B2B events (conferences, exhibitions, tradeshows), ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
- Strategic Insight: Understand client objectives and provide strategic guidance to help them achieve their goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams—creative, production, marketing—to deliver cohesive and successful events.
- Budget Management: Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial targets are met.
- Problem Solving: Quickly and effectively resolve client issues, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust.
- Business Development: Identify opportunities to grow accounts through upselling or cross-selling additional services.
What They’re Looking For:
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience as an Account Manager in a B2B events environment (conference, exhibition, or tradeshow experience is essential).
- Events Background: Strong knowledge of event management processes and best practices.
- Relationship Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
- Strategic Thinker: Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to think both creatively and strategically.
- Budget Oversight: Experience managing event budgets with a strong attention to detail.
- Growth Mindset: Ambitious, motivated, and eager to grow into a senior role within the Client Services team.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with corporate clients across various industries.
- Familiarity with ProSim or other event management software/tools.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
