Mid-weight Interior Designer – Permanent – London

About the Studio
A dynamic interior design studio based in West London is on the lookout for a talented and motivated Mid-weight Interior Designer with at least 5 years of experience. The studio is known for creating inspiring and functional spaces for both hospitality and residential clients, with a focus on thoughtful design, high-quality materials, and meticulous attention to detail.

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to all stages of the design process, from concept to project completion. You’ll work alongside a talented team of designers, architects, and contractors to transform client visions into beautifully realised spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and present creative design concepts for hospitality and residential projects.
  • Conduct client interviews to understand their needs, style, and budget requirements.
  • Research and source FF&E, materials, and finishes.
  • Produce detailed construction documents, including space plans, elevations, and joinery details using design software such as AutoCAD.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure successful delivery.
  • Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to implement the design vision.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve any on-site concerns.
  • Prepare presentations and proposals for clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, materials, and technologies.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in interior design, ideally on hospitality and/or residential projects.
  • Proven ability to take a project from concept to completion.
  • Strong understanding of space planning, furniture layouts, and construction documentation.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating exceptional spaces.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations is advantageous.
