As a Digital Designer, you will play a key role in creating visually appealing and effective email campaigns that align with our brand identity and engage our audience. You will collaborate closely with marketing, CRM, and content teams to design email templates, digital assets, and other marketing collateral that enhance customer engagement and drive conversions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Email Design and Development:
    • Design visually engaging, responsive email templates for various CRM campaigns, including promotional, transactional, lifecycle, and triggered emails.
    • Collaborate with CRM managers and marketers to interpret campaign goals into compelling designs that align with brand guidelines.
    • Ensure designs are optimized for accessibility, responsiveness, and performance across email clients and devices.
  • Asset Creation:
    • Create supporting digital assets, including banners, icons, illustrations, and other graphical elements for email and CRM use.
    • Work on campaign-specific needs such as A/B testing variations, dynamic content modules, or localized designs.
  • Brand Consistency:
    • Maintain and enforce design consistency across email templates, ensuring alignment with overall brand identity and voice.
    • Evolve and document the design system for CRM and email, creating reusable components for efficiency.
  • Collaboration:
    • Partner with copywriters, marketing strategists, and developers to ensure cohesive messaging and execution.
    • Provide creative input and suggest innovative ways to elevate CRM/email campaigns.
  • Testing and Optimization:
    • Work with developers or email tools to test email designs for cross-platform and device compatibility.
    • Analyze performance metrics and optimize designs based on insights to improve user engagement and campaign success.
  • Software and Tools:
    • Utilize design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Sketch for creating assets.
    • Work with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Mailchimp) and email design testing tools (e.g., Litmus, Email on Acid).

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience designing CRM/email marketing assets, with a strong portfolio showcasing responsive email designs and creative marketing projects.
  • Proficient in HTML/CSS for email (a big plus).
  • Strong understanding of email design best practices, accessibility (e.g., ADA compliance), and responsive frameworks.
  • Experience working with CRM tools and email testing platforms.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret analytics and feedback into actionable design improvements.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with motion design or animation for emails (GIFs, HTML5).
  • Knowledge of personalization and dynamic content strategies in CRM campaigns.
  • Experience in B2C or B2B industries with a focus on customer engagement.
