Project Running Architect in the Cambridge area?
I am working with a leading practice in Cambridge who are looking to expand their team.
They work on a variety of sectors, but tend to specialise in Laboratories, and Higher Education so any experience in this will be beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Take full ownership of projects, managing all stages of design and construction while ensuring adherence to client requirements, budgets, and timelines.
- Technical Delivery: Lead the preparation of detailed design and construction documentation using Revit software, ensuring compliance with UK building regulations.
- Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction with project outcomes.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all project outputs meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and sustainability.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior team members, sharing your expertise in design, technical processes, and project management.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of UK-based experience as a Project Architect, ideally with a strong focus on laboratory and/or higher education projects.
- Proven experience in leading and delivering complex projects through all RIBA stages.
- Proficiency in Revit software is essential, with a portfolio showcasing excellent design and technical skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of UK building regulations, construction processes, and procurement methods.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in client-facing roles.
- A recognised architectural qualification and ARB registration are required.
- Membership in RIBA is desirable but not essential.
Salary will be based on ability and experience but is expected to be circa £45,000.
