About the Role
A practice in Gloucestershire is looking for a  talented and ambitious Residential Designer to join architecture practice in Gloucestershire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to step up into a job-running role, contributing to the design of residential projects ranging from small-scale developments to large schemes of up to 700 units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage projects up to RIBA Stage 4, ensuring design quality and project efficiency.
  • Collaborate with housebuilders, understanding their requirements and delivering tailored design solutions.
  • Have experience using Revit to produce detailed designs, drawings, and technical packages.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including consultants and contractors.
  • Maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Provide mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in residential architecture, with projects ranging in size up to 700 units.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit.
  • Hands-on experience working with housebuilders.
  • Familiarity with UK building regulations and planning processes.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive attitude, with a desire to take on greater responsibilities and step up to job running.
