Job Description: Interior Design Project Manager

Overview

The company seeks a highly organized and experienced Interior Design Project Manager to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of the interior design process, exceptional project management skills, and a proven track record of successful on-site implementation. The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of interior design projects from conception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Lead and coordinate project teams, including interior designers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Establish and maintain clear communication channels with clients, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project.
• Conduct regular on-site inspections to monitor project progress and address challenges.
• Manage procurement and installation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
• Ensure adherence to design concepts, specifications, and quality standards.
• Resolve project-related issues and conflicts efficiently.
• Prepare and present project status reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks to project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in interior design project management.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery within budget and timeline.
• Strong understanding of interior design principles, trends, and materials.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with [specific interior design software, e.g., AutoCAD, Adobe CS, SketchUp].
• Knowledge of construction and building codes.
• Experience managing high-end residential or commercial projects.
