About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lead Architect with a specialism in the leisure sector. They are looking for a highly motivated professional who excels in business development, team leadership, and the design of exceptional leisure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of high-quality, innovative leisure projects.
• Drive business development initiatives, identifying and securing new opportunities in the leisure sector.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to expand our leisure portfolio.
• Manage project teams, ensuring efficient use of resources, timely delivery, and budget adherence.
• Mentor and guide junior members of the team.
• Work collaboratively with consultants, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve successful outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with UK building regulations and industry standards.
• Represent the practice at networking events, client meetings, and industry conferences.

Requirements

• Chartered Architect (ARB/RIBA or equivalent).
• Extensive experience leading leisure sector projects, such as hotels, resorts, sports facilities, and entertainment venues.
• Strong business development skills with a track record of winning and delivering projects.
• Proven leadership ability, managing teams and overseeing all project stages.
• Proficiency in Revit and other architectural software.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• A commercial mindset with the ability to balance design innovation with project feasibility.
