Job Description

I am currently assisting a small London practice in the search for a Technical Architect or Architectural Technician on a contract basis.

This practice is offering the opportunity for an experienced candidate to work on an exciting mid-rise residential project in RIBA stage 4! They are looking for someone with around 5 (or more) years of experience on UK projects, with emphasis on a background of UK residential projects and a knowledge of UK regulations. However as they say, "it's not the years, it's the mileage" and those with relevant mid-rise, multi-unit residential project experience could be considered. 

As they are looking for someone to contribute in RIBA stage 4, they are looking for someone with good, demonstrable technical experience. Experience with stage 4 work is essential, including experience developing detailed design, producing construction information and creating detailed drawings and specifications, and preparing projects for tendering.  You must be detail oriented, capable of thriving independently whilst also working well within the team, have a strong work ethic and are prepared to work to deadlines. 

The software of choice for this practice is Revit, and so experience using Revit is an absolute must have. Experience with other software is beneficial, but of course the one that matters most is Revit.
