Job Description

I've just taken on an exciting opportunity for an Architectural Technologist (or perhaps very technical Architect) to work for a well known London based practice who have a number of office across the country. This is permanent position with a salary up to £45,000 pa depending on experience.

This is to exclusively work on UK based projects and you'll need at least 5 years industry experience within the UK to be considered. Ideally you should also have a strong understanding of UK housing standards as well as UK building regulations. This is a technical position as you might have expected- Technologists and Technical Architect will be considered, you'll need to be able to demonstrate quality detailing packages, construction drawings, sections/plans/elevations. Site experience would be beneficial however this is not a pre-requisite. You're ability within RIBA stages 4-6 will be the main focus for this position, occasionally you'll be working on planning applications however post planning is definitely the name of the game.

You'll need a solid background within the residential sector, namely medium-large scale residential developments. The company in questions also work on high-rise schemes so a portfolio to reflect and match such work is required. 

Revit fluency is an absolute must. You'll need to be comfortable with producing drawings on Revit from very early on so at least 2 years experience with Revit on live schemes would be ideal.
