Senior Architectural Technician in the Cambridge area? 

I am working with a leading practice in Cambridge who are looking to expand their team. 

They work on a variety of sectors, but tend to specialise in Laboratories, and Higher Education so any experience in this will be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Design and Documentation: Produce detailed design and construction drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications and UK building regulations.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop integrated designs and ensure seamless project delivery.
• Problem-Solving: Resolve technical challenges and provide innovative solutions during all project stages, from design development through to construction.
• Mentorship: Guide and support junior team members, sharing your expertise in technical design and best practices.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all technical documentation aligns with UK building standards, codes, and regulations.
• Client Interaction: Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and present technical solutions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of UK-based experience as an Architectural Technician.
• Proficiency in Revit software is essential, with a portfolio demonstrating high-quality technical work.
• Comprehensive knowledge of UK building regulations and construction processes.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deliver accurate and detailed construction packages.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working in multidisciplinary teams.

Salary will be based on ability and experience but is expected to be circa £45,000.
