Freelance Motion Designer (Animation Specialist)

We are a dynamic creative studio based in South London, specializing in crafting visually engaging content for clients across various industries, including advertising, entertainment, and corporate branding. We are seeking a talented and versatile freelance Motion Designer with Animation Expertise to join our roster of creative professionals.

Role Overview
As a freelance Motion Designer, you will collaborate with our creative team to design and deliver high-quality motion graphics and animations that meet client briefs. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of design, and the ability to create compelling animations that elevate visual storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and produce motion design content.
• Create dynamic animations, including 2D and/or 3D designs, for a variety of projects.
• Interpret and execute client briefs, ensuring deliverables meet brand guidelines and project objectives.
• Utilize industry-standard software to create visually stunning motion graphics and effects.
• Edit and refine animations based on feedback, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and techniques to bring fresh ideas to the table.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Motion Designer or Animator, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of styles and projects.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Experience with 3D animation tools like Cinema 4D, Blender, or Maya is a plus.
• Strong understanding of design principles, including typography, composition, and color theory.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members and clients effectively.
• Flexible and adaptable, with a problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Based in or willing to travel to South London for occasional in-person meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating animations for social media platforms.
• Background in illustration or storyboard creation.
• Knowledge of audio editing and sound design for animations.
