Urgent contract role incoming! I'm working with one of the better known multidisciplinary practices in their search for 2 Senior Architects to add to their rail/infrastructure team. This is a contract opportunity for at least 6 months however the likelihood of this being a number of years rather than months is high. This is an INSIDE IR35 position with a rate circa £45/hr Umbrella depending on experience.
Who doesn't love the opportunity to work on both UK AND International rail schemes? This is just such one of those positions. You'll be working on a number of rail station designs and delivery across the country as well as a number of rail schemes in Asia and the Americas. Of course a strong background within the rail and Infrastructure is a must and you'll need to have at least 10 years industry experience to be considered. You'll be working across all RIBA stages- assisting the clients with developing the design as well as on site through to hand over.
You'll need to demonstrate a background of delivery large scale technical projects within a portfolio. It would be beneficial to have experience of working on buildings from a sustainable point of view.
Revit is the main so0ftware in use and it is vital you are very comfortable with this software. As well as producing drawing with Revit you may also be assisting with producing BIM models.
