Lead/Senior Architectural Technologist
Overview
I am currently working with a busy medium-sized, London based practice who are seeking a Lead/Senior Architectural Technologist with advanced skills in Revit and significant experience in stage 4 architectural projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design and development of architectural projects, leading a team of technologists and contributing to the overall success of our firm.
This is a permanent position with a salary in the bracket of £50,000-£60,000.
There will be a Revit test as part of the interview process. You'll be working on a large scale residential and hotel schemes so experience in is required.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of architectural technologists to ensure the successful delivery of projects within the residential and hospitality sector
- Utilize advanced skills in Revit to create detailed architectural drawings and documentation
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and refine project designs
- Conduct quality control checks on architectural drawings and documentation
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior staff members
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices
Qualifications
- Degree in Architectural Technology with CIAT membership
- Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural technology, with a focus on stage 4 projects
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and other architectural design software
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
Day-to-day
- Leading and coordinating the work of architectural technologists
- Developing and refining architectural designs using Revit
- Communicating and collaborating with architects, engineers, and other team members
- Conducting quality control checks on architectural drawings and documentation
- Providing mentorship and guidance to junior staff members
