Job Description

I'm currently assisting a London based practice in their search for a BID Manager. This is a permanent position with a salary up to £60,000 pa depending on experience. 

If you're seeking a design focused, client facing position then this could be the ideal role for you. Initially the need will be to assist with some large scale Mixed-use and cultural projects. You'll need to demonstrate strong experience with BID writing in the architectural  industry for at least 5 years. You'll have the opportunity to Work with the Principle and Senior Team to deliver high quality BID documents. You'll be taking a fair amount of responsibility with some of the upcoming projects with regards to identifying tender opportunities, managing the content publications and identifying networking opportunities for the Principle and Senior team. Another large aspect of this position is your ability to write UK and US bids, so experience in this area is required. 

Some of the work will be international. Yes they have a strong presence within the UK but some projects will be in Europe, North Africa, and in the Middle East, prior experience of working on schemes within this region would be a bonus but is not a pre requisite. The work itself is within the commercial, high-end residential, mixed-use and cultural sectors so you will need to demonstrate a background of working in this sector. The preferred candidate will have a background in creative writing or journalism but is not a must. However, proficiency with InDesign and PowerPoint is with excellent knowledge of Microsoft office.
