REQUIREMENTS of the role:

CREATIVE PRODUCTION DIRECTOR

The Creative Production Director will be responsible for the smooth running of a large number of projects and activations within the agency. They will be the light guiding the team towards the project’s success and ensure the client is always up to date and satisfied.

Success in this role means creative flair, effective team management, the ability to inspire others, being able to approach briefs with a creative yet commercial mindset and spotting logistical issues ahead of time with strong and actionable solutions.

WHO YOU’LL BE WORKING WITH:

Internal: CPD will lead on day-to-day management of their direct reporting Jr staff within the team, being accountable for their performance and providing them with learning and development opportunities.

External: Various client teams, including senior level clients and directors (CPD may often need to lead on meetings with support from wider team). Suppliers who need specialist and experienced knowledge and who are integral to activation success such as set build, lighting, tech, stylists etc. Line manager: CPD will report into the senior leadership team.

Supplier Management

§ Ultimate management of all suppliers for your teams jobs, including cost negotiations – making sure we get 3 quotes where possible

§ Sending out and chasing invoices and making sure invoices are submitted for payment on time

§ Speaking to RAMs and insurance suppliers on jobs which may require specific consultation

Marketing and Lead Generation

§ Making sure all staf on the social accounts post when they go on jobs on their own.

§ Work with marketing, creative, brand experiences and design teams during RFP process to assist with building experiential related presentations for clients.

§ Working with wider team on new business tenders and to successfully deliver pitches.

§ Looking for and working on external marketing opportunities for the business with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop visually engaging graphics for events, adhering to client brand guidelines.
• Create distinctive logos and branding for events.
• Interpret client briefs to ensure designs exceed expectations (with guidance from senior team members).
• Conceptualize and create mood boards for event designs.
• Design polished and professional pitch decks and presentations.
• Produce final artwork for event branding, graphic walls, printed materials, and digital media.
• Collaborate with the team on creative brainstorming sessions.
• Handle specialized tasks like colour correction and preparing artwork for print.
• Assist in organizing materials and briefs for freelancers and other team members

Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree in Graphic Design (minimum 2:2) or equivalent design experience.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on high-quality output.
• Additional skills such as image editing, sketching, photography, illustration, or artworking are a plus.
• Awareness of emerging technologies and design trends.
• Proficiency in typography and layout design.
• Basic understanding of printing processes.
• Interest in sports or motorsports is advantageous.

Software Expertise:

• Required: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Desirable: Canva, Figma, Blender, C4D
