Job Description

Position: Architectural Technologist/ Technician 

Location:  Bristol 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively within a team, effectively communicating with colleagues and clients as needed.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn new construction techniques and solutions, staying updated with industry advancements.
  • Have 
  • Resolve technical challenges and produce accurate technical information, maintaining a flexible approach to project requirements.
  • Coordinate the work of associated professional consultants and potentially the internal design team.
  • Balance workload effectively, managing multiple projects concurrently when required.
  • Utilize your knowledge of Revit and BIM skills to support our technology and processes.
  • Apply your experience in producing, analyzing, and advising on specifications, materials selection, and detailed design solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with design, legal, statutory, and professional requirements for large and complex projects.

Requirements: Essential Skills:

  • Broad experience in construction with a strong working knowledge of building/construction practices.
  • Degree qualified or equivalent in Architectural Technology or related field.
  • Desire to learn and adapt to new construction techniques and solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective teamwork, communication with clients, and knowledge sharing.
  • Ability to overcome technical challenges and produce accurate technical information, with flexibility in approach.
  • Experience in coordinating the work of associated professional consultants and internal design teams.
  • Ability to balance workload effectively, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of Revit and proficiency in BIM skills.
  • Proficiency in producing, analysing, and advising on specifications, materials selection, and detailed design solutions.
  • Familiarity with ensuring compliance with design, legal, statutory, and professional requirements for large and complex projects.
  • Experience working on education projects would be beneficial.
