About the practice:

A London-based interior design studio renowned for exciting work in the high-end residential sector. The projects are characterized by their creativity, meticulous attention to detail, and the highest standards of design. The team is friendly, hardworking, and passionate about delivering exceptional results.

Role Overview:

Seeking an energetic and experienced Mid-Level / Senior Interior Designer to join the dynamic team for a 2-3 month freelance term. This role is studio and site-based, requiring immediate availability to support a busy summer schedule. The role involves several high-profile residential installation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • On-Site Installation: Oversee and assist with on-site installations, ensuring design specifications are met and any issues are promptly addressed.
  • FF&E Design and Procurement: Manage FF&E design, selection, procurement, and installation, ensuring high standards and attention to detail.
  • Styling: Contribute to the styling of interiors, bringing creative and practical solutions to the forefront.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the design team and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Software Proficiency: Utilize AutoCAD, InDesign, and Excel to create schedules and manage FF&E.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in interior design, specifically with FF&E and procurement.
  • Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, InDesign, and Excel.
  • On-Site Work: Comfortable and experienced with site work.
  • Availability: Must be available to start immediately and commit to a 2-3 month term.
  • Attributes: Energetic, adaptable, and able to hit the ground running. Strong all-rounder with excellent attention to detail.
  • Commute: Must be able to and willing to commute to London daily.

Working Hours:

  • Office Hours: 9 AM to 6 PM, with an hour for lunch.
  • Location: Studio and on-site in London. No remote working due to the stage of the projects and the fast-paced nature of the business.

Compensation:

  • Rate: £200 - £250 p/day pending experience
