ARE YOU AN ASSOCIATE LEVEL TECHNICAL DESIGNER LOOKING FOR A NEW OPPORTUNITY?
Our client based in Surbiton serves clients all over the UK and specialising in the Interior Design schemes of high-end commercial office space and headquarters ranging in size from 30,000 sqft - 250,000 sqft. If you are looking to be a key decision maker within a commercially sound Interior Design Agency, this would be an amazing opportunity for you.
Although your real ownership of projects will kick in at stages 3 & 4, you will be involved in the entire design cycle. Working with the wider design team to engage with clients at initial concept stage ensuring that the "buildability" of the project being proposed is sound and there are little to no last minute changes which require huge amounts of value engineering.
Your direct report will be to Technical Director, you will help manage the work of the technical designers (of which there are 2), however, all other designers complete some element of technical drawings so your oversight will be required.
As a prospective employee, you will be RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Site Surveys/Measures.
- Technical Drawings (REVIT).
- Overseeing teams technical drawings.
- Communications with clients & contractors.
- Delivery of project works.
- Collaboration with creative designers.
We foresee this role being best serviced by a hugely experienced Architectural Technician, Technologist, Foreign Qualified Architect or even fully qualified architect - however no matter which of these you are you will be able to showcase and demonstrate an expert knowledge & understanding of interior design schemes.
