Job Title: Remote Freelance Architect or Architectural Technologist

Location: South West (Remote with occasional site visits)

Job Summary: In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on major architectural projects from the comfort of your own home, with occasional site visits in the South West. We are looking for a candidate who is highly skilled in Vectorworks and has a strong design focus. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our design-driven projects while enjoying the flexibility of a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team to create architectural concepts, detailed drawings, and project plans.
• Utilize Vectorworks to produce high-quality architectural drawings and 3D models.
• Participate in design reviews and provide creative input to enhance project concepts.
• Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure projects are executed effectively and meet design and quality standards.
• Conduct occasional site visits within the South West region to assess project progress and ensure design intent is being followed.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design and architectural trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

• ARB Registered Architect or Architectural Technologist (CIAT)
• Proven experience in architectural design.
• Proficiency in Vectorworks or similar design software.
• Strong design skills and a passion for creative architecture.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to travel within the South West for occasional site visits.
