Interior Designer

We have an opportunity to work with our client who are an Interior Design studio based in Hertfordshire, specialising in super-prime residential projects across the UK. Our client are looking for an ambitious and driven Interior Designer to join their luxury design studio. This role would be ideal for an Interior Design graduate who is looking for the chance to grow within a studio. 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Studio organisation - answering phones, general maintenance, sample library and supplier database management
  • Host supplier meetings, taking any minutes
  • Research new suppliers, keeping the team updated on industry events
  • Work on fast-paced interior projects efficiently and effectively
  • Assisting with concept creation through to completion
  • Work on drawing packages (plans, elevation and joinery)
  • Selection of FF&E
  • Prepare material trays for client presentations
  • Assisting with specifications for finishes
  • Visualise concepts, assisting in the development or rendered plans, elevations and sketches.
  • Assisting co-ordination of deliveries and installation support
  • Deliver all tasks with precision with the clients luxury approach in mind.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
  • Ideally at least 1 year working in relevant residential design
  • Strong with AutoCAD, Photoshop, Indesign and Excel. EstiPC a bonus
  • Good knowledge of FF&E for high-end residential suppliers
  • Produce space planning designs and FF&E/procurement schedules
  • Ability to assist with budgeting/procurement using EstiPC
  • Very organised, with the ability to work under pressure whilst prioritising efficiently and effectively
  • Report to Senior Designers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a good eye for detail
  • Ambitious and motivated to progress within the industry
  • Own full UK drivers licence

Salary and work schedule:

  • Salary of up to £25k based on experience
  • Monday - Friday in the office - no flexibility
