Interior Architectural Design Assistant

We have an opportunity to work with our client who are a leading luxury interior design company based near Cobham, Surrey. Our client are looking for a Interior Architectural Design assistant to join their team of designers on a full time basis. This will be an opportunity to join an exciting growing team in a fantastic working environment with the opportunity to grow. Our client is looking for a creative design assistant to work with the design team, helping clients with realising their vision for their homes whilst helping the team develop design concepts, presentations and technical drawings.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Produce high quality presentations and schedules
  • Ability to assist on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Answering and making calls, running errands when required
  • Obtaining costs and materials that involve calling/visiting suppliers - supplier knowledge is ideal
  • Responsible for daily studio maintenance
  • Take photos for social media
  • Making minutes in meetings, Managing follow-ups both internally and externally

Key requirements:

  • Clean UK driving licence with car to attend site meetings when required.
  • Degree in Interior Architecture
  • Basic design knowledge with any relevant experience valued
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - strong verbal and written communication
  • Ability to take a detailed brief from designers
  • Customer focused mindset in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent creative and design skills within high-end residential Interior Design
  • Computer Aided Design (AutoCAD) - be able to assist and support drawing packages
  • Fluent in Microsoft packages
  • Be organised, efficient with an ability to fit in with company culture
  • Organised and good scheduling and admin skills
  • Ability to prioritise and organise time for most efficient use

Salary and work schedule:

  • Full time in the office 8:30am - 5:30pm - flexible when needed
  • Salary of up £30k based on experience
