Our East Midlands based client are looking to recruit into their small design team. 

Specialising in the design of commercial office space, this role will be offer you the opportunity to own projects, being involved in all stages of the design process and really putting your mark on the work produced by the studio.

Depending on the project, you will work independly or as part of the design team. Producing conceptual design, space plans, concept visuals and presentations, interior details (technical drawing packs) & FF&E and Finishes Schedules.

You will also be part of handover Photography, accompanying the photographer for key shots / styling the space.

To be success in applying for this position, you will present a strong portfolio with a bias towards commercial office design. You will show an ability and history of using your own initiative, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver work for deadlines. Your portfolio will showcase projects you have taken ownership of and demonstrates where you have been responsible for creating full project work.

Occasionally you will be required to work as a part of a team to work to tight deadlines and complete larger projects.

You will be comfortable liaising with clients directly, from initial enquiry - putting together concept designs and follow it through from the start of the project to the end, including on to site when in construction.

You are required to have an Interior Design or Interior Architecture, BA (Hons) qualification or similar and will need to have had a minimum of five years’ post qualification industry experience with a hardworking 'Can Do' attitude.

Required software knowledge includes: AutoCAD; Photoshop Packages; SketchUp; Lumion (not a must and can be taught); Microsoft Office
