Conservation and Heritage Architect
Contract position for a world renowned firm. Initially 3 months with possible extension.
This team are growing at a rate of knots and have an excellent pipeline of work within Historic buildings of all shapes and sizes. It is not focussed solely on London either as the projects are scattered across the UK. This position forms part of a network of disciplines which will include Archeologists, Engineers and other Heritage experts.
A keen eye for detail, surveying and report writing is needed along with an intrinsic understanding of all listing grades. Churches, stations, steel structures and mediaeval halls to name but a few project types.
This role would be based out of London or York ideally but actually could be anywhere in the UK as long as you don't mind a little travel and the odd overnight stay.
Experience in stakeholder consultation around heritage schemes really is needed along with the ability to start quiet quickly. This position will be inside IR35.
Rates are negotiable dependant on experience and availability.
