Calling Technical Project Managers from the events industry, we currently have a position available with an Event Design and Production company in South East London. This is a business born out of the pandemic with an experienced team now looking to grow the business and build upon its impressive virtual portfolio with more hybrid and more importantly physical event experiences coming up in the future.
As Technical Project Manager, you will be an experienced event professional with a strong understanding of the delivery of an event but specifically the technical delivery of an event. A background as an AV Technician or equipment hire supplies looking to move into management could be suitable to this role. Familiarity with these brands also beneficial brands such as d&b, Analog Way, Robe, Chamsys and Avolites. You will be familiar with technical drawings and ideally had exposure to Vectorworks. The nature of events means tight deadlines and often late nights, you should therfore apply to this with that in mind. It comes with the territory.
You will need to be a strong leader and be able to allocate work onsite to technicians and contractors. You'll be managing budgets and handling stock levels of kit, whilst having an input on updating the companies kit with latest tech when needed.
