An interesting opportunity has become available for a Project Architect to work for the London office of a medium-sized nationwide practice. This is a 6 months fixed terms contract with the high likelihood of this being extended into a permanent position, salary circa £40-45,000 depending on experience.
For this position you should have at least 4 years PQE and have a proven track record of job running in recent years. Experience with working on industrial and commercial units could be ideal for this one and any experience within the education sector would also suit. This is certainly not a normal project so if you're keen to break from the usual mold and work closely with an entrepreneurial client then this could be the one for you. The project is currently at RIBA stage 2 and you'll be expected to develop this through to stage 3 and 4 meaning job running experience is a necessity. Design development is vital and you should have strong communication skills to coordinate between teams within the office and offices.
Revit fluency is a must for this one as the company in question use Revit exclusively so you'll be expected to hit the ground running with this. With a proven track record within the residential sector this is an interesting flagship project for the practice. If you'd be keen to apply your ability to an interesting project then this is definitely something not to be missed. Interviews are looking to take place in the next few weeks with a start in June/early July in mind. Don't let the 6 month FTC deter you, this is very much seen as a long term position after an initial probation period.
