ARE YOU A JUNIOR PRODUCT DESIGNER LOOKING FOR A NEW AND EXCITING OPPORTUNITY?

My client specialising in retail design and shopper marketing, are on the look out for a talented Junior Development Designer to join their team. This exciting role has arisen within the design consultancy and in-house manufacturing team to be working alongside the world's biggest health and beauty brands in the UK and globally. In this role, you would be reporting to the Technical Design Manager, working in a fast-paced, dynamic industry and demonstrating key attributes such as attention to detail, and CAD skills.

REQUIREMENTS to apply for the role:

• BA (Hons) Degree in Industrial/ Product Design.
• Experience and knowledge working in AutoCAD, Solidworks, and the Adobe Creative Suites.
• An interest in design trends.
• Appreciation and knowledge in sustainability and sustainable design.
• Interest and experience in the manufacturing process. Ideally you would have some experience designing for/ using vac-forming, acrylic fabrication, injection-moulding, sheet metal-work, timber carcass, illumination, solid surface, and additive manufacture.
• Basic understanding of materials, processes, and construction methods.
