Are you interested in becoming part of a fast growing business, delivery global exhibition programmes around the world? mustardXP is currently on the look out for a Retail, Merchandising and Licensing Manager to join this London / Cotswold based creative agency. They work with global rights holders to create new, technology-led exhibitions and storytelling experiences that appeal to a wide range of audiences. Based in London, this permanent role is active and seeking talented people. You will be supporting the ongoing development of a major global travelling exhibition that is scheduled for launch in late 2022.

You will be working alongside the lead producers, specialist curators and in-house design team to develop the Exhibition’s partnerships, and coordinate with external sponsorship agencies, brands and partners. You will be responsible for managing the buying and sales budgeting and forecasting for the different product lines and categories for the Exhibition, and will be tasked with maximising delivery of sales and profit. The role will require travel between the London and Cotswold offices from time to time, along with global travel to various amazing sites globally.


● Identify, plan and execute new growth opportunities

● Accurate budgeting and forecasting of revenue

● Forecasting of sales and inventory with an excellent understanding of trends and product range

● Build and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders and partners

● Demonstrate an understanding of product performances and customer profiles

● Manage stock levels across locations

● Coordinate product launches

● Serve as an ambassador for the Exhibition and it’s stakeholders

Skills & Experience:

● Previous experience at Merchandising/Buying Manager level in Exhibitions/ Museums/Arts/Heritage/Sport sectors

● Excellent presentation skills and presence

● Superb negotiation and deal closure capabilities

● Ability to establish and maintain excellent relationships and customer service across agencies, partners, brands, federations and associations

● Proven networking and relationship building skills, with a strong capacity to influence others

● Experience in UK and International markets

● Excellent understanding of financial reporting

● Research, feasibility evaluation, ROI analysis, stakeholder management and business case development
